What does cash out mean?

Settling a bet early for an amount the bookmaker offers, before the event ends. Less than it would pay if it won, more than nothing if it would lose.

In practice

Cash out lets you settle a bet before the event finishes, for an amount the bookmaker offers at that moment. Example: a bet that would return £50 is offered £30 to cash out with ten minutes left. Take it and £30 comes back whatever happens next. The offer includes the bookmaker's margin.

The Funteron way: fans should not need to know any of this to have a bet. Funteron is designed to show every bet in plain words and in money: what it costs, what comes back if it wins and what you lose if it does not.
