Modern slavery statement

For the financial year ending 30 September 2026

This statement sets out what Funteron Limited does to keep modern slavery and human trafficking out of its business and its supply chains.

Funteron's turnover is below the £36 million threshold at which section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 requires a statement, so this statement is voluntary. Funteron publishes it because it expects high standards from the businesses it works with and should be open about its own.

About Funteron

Funteron Limited is a private limited company registered in Northern Ireland. It is a marketing and technology company that puts betting inside the apps and websites of media brands and sports, connected to licensed bookmakers. It sets no odds, holds no funds and accepts no bets.

Funteron is a small team across the UK, Serbia and Ukraine. It works with specialist partners for some of its software development and support.

Supply chains

Funteron does not make or sell physical goods. Most of what it buys is skilled digital and professional work:

  • software development and design
  • cloud hosting and software tools
  • legal, accounting and advisory services
  • marketing and events

Its software development partners include a large listed technology company that publishes its own modern slavery statement. Its commercial partners are media brands, sports and licensed bookmakers.

Where the risks are

Because Funteron's own work, and most of what it buys, is skilled office and digital work, the risk of modern slavery in its business is low. The risk is higher further along some supply chains, in particular:

  • laptops, phones and other equipment, which are made through long global supply chains
  • the data centres behind cloud services
  • cleaning, security and catering at offices and events
  • work done through contractors and agencies rather than by people Funteron employs directly

Funteron's policy

Funteron does not tolerate modern slavery, forced or compulsory labour, child labour or human trafficking, in its own business or in its supply chains. It expects everyone it works with to meet the same standard. The directors are responsible for this policy and for this statement.

How Funteron manages the risk

From the date of this statement, Funteron:

  • checks the right to work of everyone it employs in the UK before they start
  • pays its team on time and at least the legal minimum wage wherever they work
  • chooses established suppliers and, for any that provide people or physical goods, asks how they recruit and pay their workers
  • asks its main suppliers for their modern slavery statements, where they publish them
  • gives anyone a confidential way to raise a concern, set out below

Raising a concern

Anyone with a concern about modern slavery connected with Funteron, its suppliers or its partners can raise it with the directors at info@funteron.com. Concerns are treated in confidence and looked into promptly. No one will be treated unfairly for raising a concern in good faith.

If someone is in immediate danger, call 999. The Modern Slavery and Exploitation Helpline is on 08000 121 700.

Next steps for the year to 30 September 2027

  • Ask Funteron's main suppliers to confirm they meet the standard in this statement.
  • Brief everyone in the team on this statement and how to raise a concern.
  • Review this statement and publish an update within six months of the year end.
