Odds converter
Fractions, decimals or American odds. Turned into money.
Type a price in any format and see it in the other two, the chance it implies and exactly what your stake gets back. Because "£10 gets back £35" is easier than 5/2.
That does not look like a price. Try 5/2, 3.5 or +250.
Some prices round slightly differently between bookmakers. The implied chance includes the bookmaker's margin, so it is not a forecast. 18+. Please gamble responsibly.
How it works
The maths, in plain English.
How do I convert fractional odds to decimal?
Divide the first number by the second and add 1. 5/2 is 2.5, plus 1, so 3.50. 1/2 is 0.5, plus 1, so 1.50.
How do I convert decimal odds to American odds?
If the decimal is 2.00 or more, take away 1 and multiply by 100, so 3.50 becomes +250. If it is under 2.00, take 1 away from the decimal, divide 100 by the result and put a minus sign in front, so 1.50 becomes -200.
How do I convert American odds to decimal?
For a plus price, divide by 100 and add 1, so +250 becomes 3.50. For a minus price, divide 100 by the number without the minus sign and add 1, so -200 becomes 1.50.
What does the implied chance mean?
It is the chance the price suggests, worked out as 100 divided by the decimal odds. 3.50 implies about 28.6%. Bookmakers build a margin into their prices, so the chances across a whole market add up to more than 100%.
Does the return include my stake?
Yes. The return is everything that comes back if the bet wins, including your stake. Profit is the return minus the stake.
