Complaints
Where to take a complaint depends on what it is about. Funteron does not take bets, so a complaint about a bet goes to the bookmaker. If you are not sure who to contact, email Funteron and it will point you to the right place.
A bet, a payment or your betting account
Every bet made through a Funteron partner is placed with a licensed bookmaker. A complaint about a bet, a deposit, a withdrawal or your account goes to that bookmaker, through its own complaints process.
In Great Britain, the bookmaker has eight weeks to resolve your complaint. If you are still unhappy after that, you may be able to take it to the independent dispute resolution service the bookmaker names, such as IBAS. Elsewhere, the rules of the bookmaker's own regulator apply.
The app or website where you found the bet
For a complaint about how a partner's app or website looks or works, use the help or contact details in that app or website. Depending on the app, support comes from the brand or from Funteron. You can also email info@funteron.com, and Funteron will raise it with the partner.
Funteron or this website
Email info@funteron.com with "Complaint" in the subject line or write to Funteron Limited, Unit A4 Harbour Court, 5 Heron Road, Belfast BT3 9HB. Funteron will acknowledge your complaint within five working days and aim to reply in full within 20 working days. If it needs longer, it will tell you why.
Your personal information
Follow the steps under How to complain in the privacy notice. Funteron will acknowledge a data protection complaint within 30 days. If you are not happy with the outcome, you can take it to the Information Commission (known as the ICO).
An advert
If you think a gambling advert is misleading or irresponsible, you can complain to the Advertising Standards Authority at asa.org.uk.
If betting is causing you problems
You do not need to make a complaint to get help. The National Gambling Helpline is free on 0808 8020 133, 24 hours a day. GAMSTOP lets you block yourself from online gambling sites licensed in Great Britain. Your bookmaker can also set deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion on your account.
