What is an Asian handicap?

A handicap with half and quarter goals so the draw is taken out. A quarter line splits your stake across two bets.

In practice

An Asian handicap gives one team a goal start, using half and quarter goals so the draw is taken out. On a quarter line such as minus 0.25, your stake is split in two: half on 0 and half on minus 0.5. If the match is drawn, half your stake comes back and half is lost.

The Funteron way: fans should not need to know any of this to have a bet. Funteron is designed to show every bet in plain words and in money: what it costs, what comes back if it wins and what you lose if it does not.
